As a result of government restrictions and travel bans due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the ETN Board has decided to cancel our face-to-face Annual General Meeting (AGM) & Workshop, planned to take place on 30 June and 1 July 2020 in Amsterdam. In order not to delay the AGM further, we have decided to hold our first-ever entirely virtual AGM & Workshop.

Virtual AGM & Workshop Week: 29 June – 3 July 2020

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on 30 June 2020, divided into two parts:

ETN’s Workshop will consist of four individual two-hour sessions:

Preliminary programme can be downloaded here.

Young Engineers Committee

ETN’s Young Engineers Committee will hold their first official meeting on 6 July 2020. This meeting, open to all ETN members, will be an opportunity for both “young engineers” and senior representatives of ETN member organisations to discuss the benefits each organisation is expecting from this new initiative. More details are available here.

Registration will close soon!

Registration for the Virtual AGM & Workshop Week is open until Monday morning 29 June (11:00 CEST).

There will be no cost to participate in our online AGM & Workshop Week, but it requires that your organisation has paid the ETN membership fee for 2020. Registered participants will receive the call details ahead of the meetings.

ETN Board election

The new ETN Board for 2020-2022 will be elected in June and announced at the AGM. Each ETN member organisation will have one vote. One representative from each organisation (ETN contact persons) has received the instructions for online voting in June. The online voting system will close on 26 June 2020 at 15:00 CEST. Please note that if the ETN membership fee is not paid you will not be able to cast a vote. The resumes of the Board member candidates are available here (login required).

The ETN office has prepared our annual ETN Activity Update, which presents the key activities that have taken place since the last AGM in Pau, France, in March 2019. You can download the full report here (login required).
